About WayporaThe people behind the plans

Built by travel people,
not a travel algorithm.

Waypora comes from people who have spent their working lives in the travel industry — decades of planning routes, running trips, and quietly fixing the itineraries that glossy brochures got wrong. We took everything we know and taught an AI to plan the way we do: with real timings, honest opinions, and the details you only learn by going.

Why we built this

Between us, we've planned trips for a living for longer than we'd like to admit. And we kept watching the same thing happen: travellers armed with ten open tabs, a generic AI summary, and a top-ten list — ending up on the same crowded boardwalk at the same wrong time of day as everyone else.

The advice that actually changes a trip has never lived in those tabs. It lives in the heads of people who've been: which coastal town deserves two nights and which deserves twenty minutes, when the tour boats leave so you can arrive before them, which long drive is the whole point and which one you should fly over.

So we built Waypora — an AI planner with our field notes wired into it. You get the structure and speed of AI, checked against the judgment of people who've spent decades making trips actually work.

Dear traveller —
we can't come along on every trip. This is the next best thing we could build.

Why trust our plans?

Industry

Decades in the travel trade

Waypora is led by travel industry veterans — people who've planned, sold and run real trips for real travellers, and learned exactly where plans fall apart.

Field-tested

Routes we've actually travelled

Our guidebook isn't scraped from the internet. It's written from experience — the drives, the timings, the towns worth lingering in — then wired into the AI.

Honest

Advice with no agenda

We're not paid to push a hotel or pad your trip with detours. If a famous stop isn't worth your time, your itinerary will quietly route you somewhere better.

Human knowledge, AI speed

The part most AI planners are missing is the part we started with.

Field note · 01

We go first

Every region starts as field notes — routes driven, seasons compared, tips collected the slow way, by being there.

Field note · 02

The notes steer the AI

Those notes are built into Waypora's guidebook, so the AI plans inside real experience instead of guessing from the internet's averages.

Field note · 03

You get the friend version

The result reads like advice from someone who's been: what order to do things, how long everything really takes, and what to skip without regret.

A note on coverage

Why we hand-pick our destinations

We could flip a switch and “cover” the whole world tomorrow — every generic AI planner does. We won't. A destination only joins Waypora when we know it in depth — well enough that we'd happily hand the plan to our own family — and we won't release a new one until it's right. More are in the notebook.

depth over dots on a map — always

We measure Waypora one way: would we hand this itinerary to a friend and put our own names on it?
